Cologne Global Study Program
Make the most out of your stay abroad!
If you are looking for a short-term program in the heart of Europe that combines English-taught courses on Contemporary European Studies with German language courses, the Cologne Global Study Program is probably just the right choice.
Benefit from your University’s exchange agreement with the University of Cologne and join the Program in Contemporary European Studies for one semester or for a full academic year!
Dear participants of the Cologne Global Study Program,
The following information is to guide you through the first weeks of your stay:
- Please make sure to attend the personal registration to the pre-semester German Language Course on Monday, 5 September. This is compulsory for all who join the Pre-Semester German language course.
- A coordinator of the Cologne Global Study Program will join you in the “Welcome Session” for international students from non-European countries on Wednsday, September 7 at 2 PM.
For students of the Cologne Global Study Program, we designed an exclusive program. These events are in addition to the regular events for all international exchange students (see list below), which you should note as well in your schedules.
- Please join the counselling session to design your weekly schedule and fix your choice of courses on Friday, 16 September at 10 AM OR 2 PM, in the Student Service Center, International Office, Room No: 0217 (ground floor).
- The Cologne Global Study Program includes a compulsory field trip to Frankfurt, guided by two lecturers, including free entry to the Book Fair and a special event with the President of the German Federal Bank! So please save the date: Thursday, 20 October, 8 AM! Detailed information will be announced on the website and during the counselling sessions mentioned above. (A contribution towards expenses, 10 EUR, will be collected).
See you soon, in Cologne!
